Localization Project Manager (FT/Fully Remote)

I. About the Company:

Celebrating 17 years in the Language Service Industry, INGCO International is a language service company specializing in complex translation, interpretation, subtitling/captioning, and voiceover services in 200+ languages. We are ISO and ASTM certified and work with corporate entities and community-based organizations. We are a certified woman-owned company and run on the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).

Our Translation and Localization team is responsible for language strategies, various localization project management, vendor partnerships, language assets, localization tools, complex VO projects and more. You will work closely with external partners to deliver high-quality localized contents to a wild range of customers.

II. Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Translation Department, the Translation/Localization Project Manager ensures accurate and on-time delivery of all projects from inception to completion, including scope identification, requirements analysis, vendor communication, and various project-related administrative tasks. The Project Manager will collaborate with relevant partners to resolve questions related to source file discrepancies, terminology, language quality, and workflow, and manage independently query cycles and linguistic QA to ensure successful delivery to our internal clients. The role may lead implementation of new initiatives and complete special projects as needed.

A successful candidate is a highly motivated individual who works comfortably and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You have a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and projects and the right mix of organizational and communication skills. This position requires previous proven experience in localization project management, a robust TMS and CAT Tools expertise, some industry knowledge, and most importantly, a great attention to detail and some outstanding time-management and project prioritization skills.

Remote candidates residing and working outside of the US will be considered for this position.

IV. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage localization projects and requirements across external vendors
  • Engage in quotation preparation including complex and strategic requests
  • Set correct expectations with translation customers and vendors for turnaround and quality
  • Oversee end-to-end localization workflow using our translation management tools and systems
  • Perform administrative duties which include project closures, Translation Memory updates and folder structure maintenance.
  • Identify and manage project risk through prioritization, bug management, and any other means necessary
  • Ensure strict adherence to deadlines, budgets and the completion of high-quality deliverables through quality production processes and quality assurance
  • Form strong interpersonal relationships and influence without authority in a multicultural environment

VI. Preferred qualifications:

MUST HAVE

  • Three or more years of localization/Translation workflow experience
  • Translation Management Systems (TMS) proficiency (ideally with Phrase, formerly Memsource)
  • CAT tools proficiency (Trados, MemoQ, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Translation QA tools (Xbench, Verifika etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency on DTP, and LSO processes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel, and the Adobe Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to write, edit and update standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot, resolve issues, maximize system functionality, and provide input on process automation
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (FrameMaker, InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop etc.) do not have a comment on CRM – AURORA, etc.
  • Strong skillsets to work with HTML file type (embedded with CSS content), extensive knowledge on Website Localization

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, AEM etc.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C++, Swift, or Xcode
  • Experience with translation standards - ISO 17100 knowledge a plus
  • Optional EOS experience

From MXN 28,000.00 Pesos per month
